The Story
It is Day 3,650 of a three-day rescue mission.
The Greeks are down to their last crate of olives. Agamemnon is still on Chapter One of his memoirs. Achilles is quiet-quitting in a silk robe. Menelaus has started a podcast about his feelings. And Odysseus, after six months of pure strategy, finally unveils his master plan. It's a horse.
Stuck in the middle are Bob, a Trojan gate guard who took the job for the dental insurance, and Thersites, a Greek carpenter who was told this would take three days. They have spent ten years on opposite sides of the war and every night at the same poker game. When the horse shows up at the gate, Bob knows exactly what's inside it. He also knows Section Twelve of the Union Handbook.
The Big Wooden Whoopsie is an original absurdist comedy about the most famous bad decision in history, and the thousand small ones that added up to it. Think Monty Python meets Succession.
